I am 15 years old turning 16; it’s been a struggle trying to get a job as a high schooler. I’ve had about 3 interviews being unsuccessful in all and not receiving feedback no matter how many times I called in to try get it. I just want some advice and help, it’s getting frustrating. I’ve been trying to get a job for almost 2 years now consistently. Thank you for reading. I hope your future and current job endeavours are going well

I've applied for hundreds of jobs over two years. Recruiters call my CV "one of the best," but I get no interviews. Maybe I need to upskill to standing out in the post recession market? My question on upskilling to both the hiring managers and job seekers: • Does aone more multiple Coursera/edX/Google Certificate actively differentiate a strong CV and secure interviews? • In your experience, is this investment a clear hiring advantage?

Anyone else applied for jobs you thought you’d be a shoo-in for and didn’t even get an interview? Especially in a smaller town? I spoke with my budgeter at Mai Lighthouse, and she said they had job openings with over 200 applicants, and another with over 500. 😳

Hi! Recently I decided that I’d like to try to relocate in New Zealand and thought that’s the best way to do it is to find a job. I’m 26, work as a Construction Project Manager for almost 4 years, and recently I started searching for a job here. Maybe someone knows how much is it difficult to get such position in New Zealand for foreigner and how long it can be lasting? I’m starting to lose hope that I can get a new job at my age. I’m 25 years into my career and I feel as if I’m being passed over for younger people whose salary expectations are lower. I’ve been applying for jobs I’d be 100% the right fit for and have heard crickets. Is it just impossible for anyone older than 35 to get a job these days? How are you supposed to get a job when you’re not ‘young’ anymore??

I have been consistently and constantly applying at literally any and every job that comes across me discover jobs page for a good year and a half tried multiple different approaches. I cant seem to find any work and its long past the point of starting to weigh on my day to day and my mental. I am 23 fit strong reliable healthy man who is well presented and I have access to my own reliable transport a solid attractive CV and cover letter yet I still cant find anything.
