Hi everyone,
About a year ago, I got a call from a volunteer program in NZ. I told them I wasn’t there yet but could relocate immediately if offered a role. Sadly, I never heard back after that. Since then, I’ve stayed motivated and kept applying, but responses have been limited. I have strong experience in business development and lead generation and truly want to relocate and contribute.
Has anyone faced this situation or have tips on improving my chances when applying from outside NZ?

Employers are only allowed to hire people to work in NZ that are legally entitled to work here. You would have to prove you can legally work here before they make you an offer, hence why most jobs will say you must have NZ citizenship or residency in the job advert. Some companies will offer to sponsor overseas people to come to NZ but sponsorships have strict rules, check out the NZ immigration website.
