Hi Michelle, you could always try applying for the Job Seekers benefit through Work & Income. It is a weekly payment that helps people while they are looking for work or can’t work right now. Check out there website regarding the criteria for that benefit. There is also an option on the website where you get an idea of what you are entitled to. I hope that helps, all the best!
