Mental health assistant
Any other single parents out there in a similar spot? what kind of work are you doing that fits around school hours? Would love some real-world ideas or advice. My background is in mental health and aged care, but those roles are mostly shift work which doesn’t fit around school hours.
It honestly feels impossible to find something that fits such a small window of flexibility, especially when most of my experience is in healthcare.

I ended up having to WFH - but that's due to one of the kids having needs that I found quite difficult to have a non-flexible schedule. It gets better as they get older of course, they can walk home and be a bit more independent. Any way around it at all, is before school care an option?
