How do I break into the class 4 industry when every job says experience is NEEDED like I'm not dumb and in order to get experience, I NEED TO BE IN A TRUCK, 2 years with my certs DG FH WTR (10 YEARS) CLASS 1,2&4.... Any advice is appreciated,it shouldn't matter but I am a 42 yr old fully capable Lady reliable and common sense on board

Mobile Patrol Officer
It's not a glamorous choice but concrete truck companies like Firth use temp agency called Labourworks. They often need drivers on the fly and they were flexible enough for me to enter with just class 2 experience. Five months later and I have experience with road ranger gearboxes now which is a major plus as well. I'm now transitioning to mobile cranes and they are doing background checks on me as we speak :-) Good luck!
