What's it like to be a Delivery Driver?
A Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods from distribution centres to businesses and households. They load and unload items, verify delivery information, and follow delivery driving routes. They ensure timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service upon delivery.
Tasks and duties
- Ensuring deliveries are received on time and in optimal condition.
- Offering exceptional customer service at all times.
- Completing all delivery related paperwork, e.g manifests, POD's etc
- Multi-drop deliveries and pick-ups.
- Manually loading/unloading products.
- Ensuring driving style is at all times law abiding and professional.
