What's it like to be a Forklift Driver?
A Forklift Driver is tasked with operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse or factory setting. They must adhere to safety regulations, inspect and maintain equipment, and document inventory movement. Forklift Drivers must maneuve heavy equipment in tight, crowded spaces.Tasks and duties
- Load and unload containers and trucks.
- Transport goods to designated areas.
- Use the correct equipment in a safe and efficient way to minimise damage to stock and equipment.
- Inspect, control and perform minor repairs to reduce wear and damage to forklifts.
