Legal Assistant – Bramwell Bate Lawyers (Hastings)
Bramwell Bate Lawyers is a well-established and respected law firm based in Hastings. We pride ourselves on delivering practical, client-focused legal solutions and maintaining strong relationships within our community. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding full time, or part time down to 35 hours across five days, position supporting our property and commercial legal team with a focus on property transactions, estate planning and trusts. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of files and providing high-quality administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
Managing client files and maintaining accurate records
Liaising with clients in a professional and courteous manner
Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
Assisting with dictation and transcription
General administrative duties to support the legal team
About You
Previous experience in a legal assistant or administrative role (preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
