- Salary band: $108,953.34 to $133,166.10 (this will be pro-rated for the fixed term period)

He Kōrero Mō Te Tūranga | The Role
Are you passionate about supporting meaningful change? We’re seeking a Change Manager to contribute to Te Rākau Tipu, a programme that brings together initiatives, teams, and ideas into a clear and coordinated whole. The goal is to keep delivering exceptional services for tāngata whaiora and whānau while making day-to-day work easier and more effective for kaimahi.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement change strategies to help kaimahi adapt and thrive
- Work with teams to assess impacts, communicate changes, and ensure smooth transitions
- Identify challenges, manage resistance, and drive buy-in
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including kaimahi, project teams, leaders, and external partners
- Deliver effective communication plans and training programmes
- Monitor outcomes, evaluate effectiveness, and refine approaches for future initiatives
This role can be based at our Mount Wellington hub in Auckland or our Hillsborough hub in Christchurch.
He kōrero mōu | About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, IT, or a related field, with over 10 years' experience leading change management, ideally in a PMO
- Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci) and knowledge of ADKAR and project management principles (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner)
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, including senior leaders and project teams, and manage resistance to change
- Expertise in creating and delivering communication strategies and training to support change adoption
- Strong understanding of risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement
- Health industry experience (desirable)
