Stefani Australasia is an established supplier of home improvement and consumer products across Australia and New Zealand. Our portfolio includes several well-known brands spanning multiple retail categories including Stefani Water & Air filtration, Barelli bathroom-ware, D-Line cable management, CleanEase cleaning products, StorEase storage solutions and home organisation products.

As we continue to expand our presence in New Zealand, we are seeking a driven and commercially minded National Key Account Manager to help grow our brands across the NZ retail landscape.

This role will focus on maintaining strong relationships with existing retail partners, while identifying opportunities to expand into new retailers and channels throughout the country.


The Role

Reporting to the ANZ leadership team, you will be responsible for managing key retail relationships and identifying opportunities to expand our brands across the New Zealand market.

You will work across multiple retail channels including hardware, grocery, homewares and trade, helping to strengthen our position with existing partners while driving new distribution opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing retail partners including Bunnings Warehouse New Zealand

• Identify and secure new distribution opportunities with major retailers such as Mitre 10 New Zealand, Woolworths New Zealand, The Warehouse Group, Spotlight, Placemakers, and other key retail groups

• Expand product ranges across multiple retail departments and categories

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth

•Negotiate ranging, promotions and distribution opportunities with retail partners

• Work closely with internal teams across sales, marketing and operations to support retailer requirements

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and identify new opportunities for growth

• Represent the business in retailer meetings, store visits and trade events


What Success Looks Like in This Role

In this role you will play a key part in growing our New Zealand business by:

• Maintaining strong relationships with our existing retail partners

• Securing new distribution opportunities across hardware, grocery, trade, homewares and mass retail channels

• Expanding our brands across additional retail departments and product categories

• Helping establish a stronger national presence for brands including Stefani, Barelli, D-Line, CleanEase, StorEase and others within our portfolio

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a commercially driven sales professional with strong experience managing retail accounts in New Zealand.

Candidates must have current New Zealand work authorisation

You will ideally have:

• A minimum of 3-4 years experience in Key Account Management or National Account Management

• Strong relationships within the New Zealand retail landscape

• Some existing contacts within the New Zealand retail landscape are preferred

• Experience working with retailers in categories such as hardware, home improvement, plumbing, grocery or consumer products

• A proven track record of opening new accounts and growing distribution

• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills

• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently

• Strong commercial awareness and sales planning capability

Location

Mangere, Auckland

Regular travel within New Zealand will be required.

This position requires 10-25% travel time within New Zealand
