What’s it like working at Tesla?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees appreciate working with passionate, like-minded colleagues in a mission-driven culture focused on innovative products. The fast-paced, dynamic environment offers variety and opportunities to develop skills, with career progression available for those who demonstrate commitment and success.

However, there are some potential challenges, including inexperienced management and limited communication from upper levels. The demanding, fast-paced environment can impact work/life balance, and some employees note that compensation and benefits may be average compared to other companies. The rapidly changing environment and high staff turnover require adaptability and resilience.

Challenging experience with inconsistent treatment and toxic work environment.
The good thingsExposure to a fast-paced environment and opportunity to interact with customers. Some team members were supportive and professional, which made certain shifts manageable.
The challengesWorkplace culture lacked consistency and fairness, particularly towards temporary staff. There were instances where I felt treated differently compared to permanent employees, which came across as biased and unprofessional. On one occasion, I was provided with company-branded clothing without clear instructions, and later questioned in a disrespectful manner for wearing it. This created unnecessary embarrassment despite acting in good faith while representing the brand. I was also assigned duties outside my original role, such as traffic management in cold conditions, without proper communication or consideration. The approach from certain individuals felt dismissive rather than supportive. Overall, there is a need for better communication, clearer role expectations, and a more respectful and inclusive environment for all workers regardless of employment status.
