toxic, please avoid at all costs for your own mental health and family
The good thingsCafe makes some nice meals but it doesn't outweigh the impact of working here.
The challengesToxic leadership at every level. They'll strip you of any knowledge and gaslight you by saying what you've learned elsewhere - even at uni is all wrong. Then you can't get a job elsewhere because you're stuck in their world. No psychological safety, staff belittled, team leaders toxic, nobody helps as everyone's too busy, staff turnover rates are insane. I've seen staff arrive and leave within 2 weeks after finding out the state of things. They twist the entitlement attraction by making you work to earn those extra leave days. They use manipulation to mould you into their world so you can't escape.

The challengesWouldn’t recommend my previous department to anyone
had a very disappointing and not nice experience working here after management changed. The biggest issue was the way management treated staff below them. I often felt like I was treated as though I didn’t matter, with little respect, appreciation, or support. Concerns were ignored, communication was poor, a lot of favouritism, pay is very inconsistent with inexperienced new hires being paid more then long term employees with qualifications.
