What’s it like working at Oscars Group?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees consistently praise the supportive culture at Oscars Group, with excellent guidance from head office and management. The team environment is highly valued, with friendly colleagues and approachable leadership that empowers staff. Career development opportunities are clear, and the company offers good work/life balance and flexibility, particularly for families.

However, as a company experiencing rapid growth, some processes and structures are still being refined. A few employees have noted that communication could be clearer regarding expectations and changes, and management practices can vary across venues. The fast-paced hospitality environment naturally involves long hours and busy periods that require commitment.

One of the best and most supportive companies I've worked for, with a great culture and room to grow
The good thingsI’ve really enjoyed the level of support that comes from Head Office. Even though we are the only Oscars Group venue in Victoria, there has never been any shortage of support. No matter who you reach out to, people are always willing to assist, provide guidance or help work through something when needed. The culture the company has created is also something I really value. It’s a positive and encouraging environment where people are supported to develop, take on new challenges and continue progressing. There is a genuine sense that people across the Group want to see each other and the venues succeed, which makes it a great company to be part of.
The challengesHonestly, there isn’t much I could identify that needs improvement based on my experience so far. The support, communication and overall culture within the company have all been extremely positive.

A welcoming workplace with a great culture, proactive leadership and a strong support network.
The good thingsI’ve really enjoyed working at Oscars. The culture is great, and everyone has been very welcoming. I feel well supported in my role, particularly by the head office team, who are present, approachable and always available to help. I also appreciate how proactive the company is and how quickly things get actioned. The support network has been a real standout.
The challengesNothing major stands out at this stage. My experience has been really positive, and I’d love to see the same level of support and communication continue as the company grows.
