What’s it like working at NCS Group?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees at NCS Group appreciate working with skilled and collaborative colleagues and value the opportunity to work on government projects that provide exposure to networking and security technologies. The working environment is generally good, with campus activities that help make work more engaging.

However, there are some potential challenges, including concerns about management and leadership capabilities, unclear career pathways with limited investment in professional development, and a workplace culture that has shifted since the NCS acquisition, leaving some employees feeling disconnected. Additionally, workload management and work variety can be challenging, and there appears to be limited organisational investment in training and process improvement.

Overworked, stressed - I rather sit at home and do nothing than take up a role with them
The good thingsNothing - Overworked, only support clients at the cost of employees. They make use of you and throw like a door mat
The challengesThey are hopeless and beyond improvement

Wholly commoditised SI with no authenticity.
The good thingsThere were a few good people.
The challengesThe culture. Leadership instead of management. Recognise that BUs trying to make margin on internal resources just makes our prices to clients unpalatable. AI adoption is waaay behind other organisations - asking practices to integrate AI with poor training, no CM strategy, and not providing for practice investment is just a recipe for failure. Systemic lack of investment in training and process by Singtel reveals itself through performance of NCS and Optus - think of recent public failures and what the ro ot cause it.
