The work I enjoyed, the environment and management not so much
The good thingsI learned a lot about finance processes and I was proud to support a well known brand. The wider MTF company brand stands you in good stead for future roles
The challengesIt really depends on which franchise you get to work at. Because they are all independently owned, do your research on who you will be working with, the mix of people and variety of work. There was no autonomy in the role, no way of understanding how success was measured and no decision making power despite being there for over a year. There were clear favourites in the office but as there is no central HR department there is no one to raise grievances with. The work I enjoyed, the environment and management not so much
