Poor, poor & poor. Favourites are favoured...the rest irrelevant. No trust from top down
The good thingsThe few good ppl are out numbered by the poor and toxic
The challengesRemove the abundance of managers. Managers that are all about themselves. Managers who dont meaningfully engage between depts or with their own staff. I struggle to see how they even hold their own job...but they do and appear untouchable. No development, no training, no idea.

Highly positive experience at ECH, with a great foundation to thrive in a dynamic environment.
The good thingsMy experience with ECH started on a high note right from the recruitment phase. The interview process was incredibly well organised, with timely follow-ups and clear, constructive feedback provided at every single stage. This professional approach carried right through into my onboarding and induction. The team was exceptionally supportive, ensuring I gained a comprehensive overview of the business operations and key stakeholders before I jumped into my core responsibilities. It is a welcoming and collaborative workplace culture where you feel set up for success from day one.
The challengesWorking in aged care means operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As people age, their needs naturally change and evolve, which requires us to be agile, proactive, and highly adaptable. Keeping pace with these changing needs is a rewarding challenge, as it pushes the team to constantly innovate and adapt to ensure we are always delivering the highest standard of service to our clients.

Generally good, but contrasting disconnect with management & leadership leading to eventual burnout
The good thingsGenerally supportive team. Unique workplace and rewarding interactions with supporting elderly clients in the community.
The challengesLack of cohesive leadership/management. Contrasting disconnect between management/leadership and staff working directly with clients. Inadequate staffing leading to staff burnout and unnecessary stress.
