About the role:
We’re partnering with a large public sector organisation to find an experienced Product Owner / Project Manager to step into an established team and keep important work moving from November.
You’ll own the direction and delivery of specialist geospatial products, working within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework to shape and prioritise the backlog, bring stakeholders together and turn complex requirements into outcomes that matter. It’s a hands-on role where your blend of product thinking and delivery discipline will make a real difference to work of genuine national importance.
This role is based onsite in Wellington, and you’ll need to hold TSV security clearance.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- - 5+ years’ experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager or similar
- - A strong background in Agile product management
- - Hands-on experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- - Experience delivering geospatial products
- - TSV security clearance
- - Government or public sector experience (preferred)
- - Confident stakeholder engagement and backlog prioritisation skills
- - Availability to start in November and work onsite in Wellington
