One Call Handyman is seeking an Estimator to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

• Connecting with clients: Reach out to clients by phone, with the majority of quotes prepared based on photos provided, making this a flexible and efficient way to work.
• Attending quote visits: Head out for one quote visit per week, giving a nice balance between desk-based work and on-the-ground client interaction.
• Ordering materials: Take ownership of ordering the materials needed to bring projects to life.
• Liaising with tradespeople onsite: Build strong working relationships with tradespeople onsite to ensure projects run smoothly from quote to completion.
• Preparing quote amendments: Review and adjust quotes as needed, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction throughout the process.

Who are they looking for?

• Trade background: This role is best suited to someone with hands-on trade experience, ideally in plastering, carpentry, painting, fencing, or general handyman work, which will support strong, accurate quoting.
• Self-motivation and strong work ethic: A self-driven approach paired with excellent time management skills will help thrive in this role.
• Positive attitude: A can-do, upbeat approach that contributes to a great team culture is highly valued.
• Great communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are important for liaising confidently with clients and tradespeople alike.

• Professional presentation: Being well presented, punctual, and efficient rounds out the ideal profile for this role.
• General maintenance skill set: A broad, practical skill set relevant to maintenance work is required.
• Trade industry experience: Experience working within the trade industry is essential for this role.
• Driver's licence: A current Australian driver's licence is required.
