Sales Engineer

The Job

Reporting to the Industrial Division Business Manager (who is great by the way!), here's what you'll be doing:

• Grow market share through business development, account & relationship management.

• Deliver technical solutions that make your customers better.

• Actively and energetically grow and service the Industrial market in South Auckland and down to and including Hamilton.

• Develop and work on some important national accounts.

• Work closely with an inspiring Business Manager who will be able to help make your already good sales skills better. He's keen for you to take over his job at some point, so if you enjoy "owning" your territory and your sales results, your career will thrive!

What You Need

• This role will best suit a sales professional who has already had some success in a technical sales capacity.

• Ideally you'll have qualifications in Chemistry, Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• Your current employer / previous employers will describe you as a "must have" employee not just because of your excellent sales results but, also, because of how you conduct yourself. You care about your reputation and the business you work for and it shows in your actions.

• You need to be able to travel for work across your territory and nationally when required - it's expected 2-3 nights away from home per month.
