About the role

We are seeking a SDA Claiming and Data Integrity Temp (NDIS) professional to join our team on a casual basis in Melbourne VIC 3000. This is a temporary position (approximately 3 months) that plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding claims. You will be responsible for SDA claiming including following up with the NDIA, plan managers and other stakeholders regarding outstanding SDA arrears. You will also undertaje an audit of the CRM to ensure data is accurate and complete, to support compliance and successful SDA claiming.

Key responsibilities

  1. Data entry and verification of NDIS SDA claims, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all information

  2. Submitting accurate and timely SDA claims to the NDIA and plan managers to ensure payment for services that we deliver are received in a timely manner.

  3. Actively following up on SDA arrears with the NDIA and plan managers to ensure we receive overdue payments.

  4. Conducting data quality checks and audits to identify and resolve discrepancies in claiming records

  5. Maintaining meticulous records and documentation of all data entry and verification activities

  6. Liaising with relevant stakeholders to clarify information and resolve data integrity issues

  7. Preparing reports on data quality and claiming accuracy for management review

  8. Adhering to NDIS compliance requirements and organisational policies regarding data handling and privacy

  9. Identifying trends and patterns in data that may require attention or further investigation


What we're looking for

  1. Proven NDIS claiming experience, specifically in SDA.

  2. Proven experience in data entry and data management, ideally within the NDIS, disability services, or healthcare sector

  3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data accuracy

  4. Familiarity with NDIS terminology, SDA requirements and processes, and compliance requirements

  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, for data analysis and reporting

  6. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments

  8. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in identifying and resolving issues

  9. A commitment to confidentiality and data protection principles

  10. Experience with claims management systems or similar database platforms (preferred)

  11. Understanding of disability services and person-centred approaches (preferred)
