About the Role
We’re looking for full-time Community Support Workers who are kind, empathetic, and genuinely motivated to make a difference in others’ lives.
You’ll work across a variety of services — including youth, residential, intellectual disability, and mental health — supporting people to live well, learn new skills, and participate in their communities.
This is a 24/7 rotating roster, and you must be available to work weekends.
In this role, you will:
-
Support personal goals — walking alongside people as they build independence and confidence
-
Encourage daily living skills — routines, wellbeing, and practical life tasks
-
Promote community participation — hobbies, outings, social connection
-
Model positive behaviour — fostering resilience, hope, and self-belief
-
Maintain clear documentation — ensuring progress is recorded and supported
-
And most importantly, help people feel valued, included, and able to enjoy life
What You’ll Bring

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
-
A calm, positive attitude, even in challenging moments
-
A genuine passion for helping others grow and succeed
-
A full driver’s licence and basic computer skills
-
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 4 Health & Wellbeing) — or willingness to work toward one
-
The right to work in New Zealand (we cannot support visa applications)
