Component Fitter

About the Role:

We’re seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our team, responsible for keeping heavy earthmoving equipment operating at peak performance. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency across all operations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing maintenance on heavy equipment, including component change-outs, overhauls, inspections, fault finding, and repairs
  • Executing planned maintenance and breakdown repairs safely, on time, and within budget
  • Accurately recording and reporting all maintenance activities
  • Working independently while complying with site procedures, safety standards, and OEM guidelines
  • Supporting a safe, productive, and well-maintained workshop environment
Roster: Monday to Friday | 10-hour shifts | Overtime available

Your skills and experience will include:
  • Trade qualified Diesel Fitter or similar 
  • Proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance or component rebuilds
  • Solid understanding of earthmoving machinery and internal component systems
  • Hands-on experience with CAT ET and SIS diagnostic tools
  • Ability to strip, assess, rebuild, test, and recommission components to OEM standards
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • A reliable, team-oriented attitude with the flexibility to meet deadlines and changing priorities
This is an opportunity to join our experienced maintenance team based in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, allowing you to work locally while being part of a respected national business.
