Marketing Assistant Role

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to work alongside our Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer. This is an all-rounder role perfect for someone with a go-getting attitude, who’s reliable, organised, and keen to learn. Experience is preferred, but not essential. Attitude and effort matter most.


What You’ll Be Doing


You’ll support the marketing team across a mix of coordination, content, and day-to-day marketing tasks, including:

  • Assisting with planning and scheduling content across social platforms

  • Helping create and write social posts, captions, EDMs, and simple website updates

  • Supporting the Marketing Manager with campaigns, product launches, and seasonal promotions

  • Coordinating product information, internal updates, and basic marketing admin (keeping files organised, updating lists, tracking deadlines)

  • Assisting with website content updates (product pages, banners, basic edits)

  • Supporting product photography (prep, shot lists, organising products, liaising with contractors)

  • Working with sales and the wider team to help keep branding and messaging consistent

  • General support across marketing tasks as needed—no two days will look the same

  • Writing and creating engaging marketing content including
    social media posts, ad copy, EDMs, website content, and promotional campaigns

  • Supporting and implementing SEO-driven website updates, including product pages and landing pages

  • Assisting with Meta and Google Ads campaign setup and optimisation

  • Updating website content, banners, product listings, and landing pages

  • Making basic HTML edits and formatting updates within our CMS

  • Supporting website improvements focused on user experience and conversion optimisation

  • Planning and scheduling content across social media platforms

  • Supporting product launches and seasonal promotions across digital channels

  • Coordinating product information and internal marketing updates

  • Assisting with product photography and digital asset preparation

  • Collaborating with sales and internal teams to ensure messaging and branding consistency

  • General marketing support in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s keen, capable, and dependable. Ideally you’ll have:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to jump in and help

  • Strong organisation and time management (you’ll be juggling priorities)

  • Confidence communicating with team members, suppliers, and contractors

  • Good written skills 

  • Good understanding of social media and digital marketing (training provided)


As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Marketing Assistant with strong digital capability, particularly across SEO, paid advertising, content creation, and website updates. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer, supporting marketing performance across web, campaigns, and digital channels.

If you enjoy combining creativity with technical skill and want your work to directly drive traffic, leads, and sales this role could be for you.

Bonus skills (but not required):

  • Experience using tools like Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp/Klaviyo, Canva and Adobeprograms

  • A basic understanding of websites

  • Previous admin or coordination experience in a busy environment

  • Bonus Skills (Highly Regarded)

    • Experience running or assisting with Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns

    • Understanding of conversion tracking, pixels, and performance metrics

    • Experience with Mailchimp or Klaviyo

    • Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite

    • Basic understanding of website structure, UX principles, and CRO (conversion rate optimisation)

    • Video filming, editing, or creating short-form content for social media


Please Note:


This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Mangere head office. We require attendance at the office Monday to Friday. Due to the hands-on and collaborative nature of our work, being physically present with the team is essential, this role does not have flexibility to work remotely or from home. It ensures you're immersed in our products, projects, and people - allowing your creative work to have genuine impact in our fast-paced environment.
