Established in 2017, we specialise in a broad range of legal services including Māori Legal issues, Family Law, Human Rights and Refugee Law, Conveyancing, and Estate Planning and Administration. You will have expert and talented colleagues around you who will mentor and support your development. You will also have the opportunity to appear in Court as assisting counsel, so a confident and sharp demeanour is required.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Solicitor, working across all the firm’s practice areas. The Solicitor will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients, preparing legal documents and contracts, conducting legal research, representing clients in court, and handling other legal matters. The Solicitor will be based in Auckland and will work closely with other members of the legal team.


Minimum skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

  • Legal drafting, research, and analysis skills – high attention to detail is a must

  • Have a minimum of 1 years' experience as a barrister or solicitor

  • Hold a current practising certificate from NZLS (New Zealand Law Society)

  • Comfortable with technology and learning new systems

  • A strong work ethic – balancing work independently as well as part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapid robust relationships with clients

  • Strong research and drafting skills

  • An understanding of te reo Māori me ōna tikanga
