Learning Support Tutor
We are seeking skilled Learning Support Tutors to provide high‑quality support to our tertiary learners on a contract basis.
Our learners come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of learning needs, including students who identify as neurodiverse. We are looking for tutors who can create supportive, inclusive, and strengths‑based learning experiences.
About the role
Contracted tutors will:
Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group academic support sessions
Assist students with course content, study skills, organisation, and executive functioning
Use inclusive and evidence‑based tutoring approaches tailored to neurodiverse learners
Maintain clear communication with learners and staff
Keep brief records of sessions and learner progress
We are looking for people who have:
Experience supporting neurodiverse students or a strong interest in inclusive practice
Excellent communication, patience, and the ability to scaffold learning
The ability to work flexibly and independently
Preferred qualifications/experience
Previous tutoring, teaching, or learning support experience
Training or knowledge in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) or similar inclusive frameworks

Hours vary depending on student demand
Sessions may be in‑person or online
