NZQA is seeking an experienced, proactive Executive Assistant to provide high‑level support to the Deputy Chief Executive (Strategic & Corporate Services) and the divisional leadership team.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
This is a key role supporting executive decision‑making, governance processes, and divisional leadership in a fast‑paced and purpose‑driven organisation.
- Provide end‑to‑end executive support including diary, emails, papers and presentations.
- Coordinate S&CS memos and reports for the Board, SLT and committees.
- Manage incoming correspondence, including Ministerial and OIA requests.
- Ensure the DCE is fully prepared for meetings and events, including agendas, minutes and documentation.
- Support budgets, invoices, accruals and reporting.
- Manage filing, records and information systems.
- Coordinate events, offsites and culture‑building activities.
- Support leadership projects, process improvements, and stakeholder relationships.
- Provide additional support to the Chief Customer Officer and S&CS leadership team as required.
