ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on digital role for someone who loves keeping platforms performing at their best, crafting compelling campaigns and using data to drive smarter decisions.
Working closely with our Head of Communications and Marketing, you'll manage SBN's digital presence and deliver campaigns that grow our audience and deepen engagement in our work. You'll keep our website accurate, on-brand and easy to navigate, while also creating content that brings our programmes and stories to life across digital channels.
This is a part-time permanent role, 20 hours per week.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the SBN website to ensure content is accurate, up to date, well presented and easy to navigate, with brand content and audience pathways functioning as intended
Manage relationship with external web developer to resolve technical issues, implement enhancements and maintain SEO and site performance
Plan and deliver digital campaigns across SBN platforms, including campaign set-up, publishing, tracking and reporting, using tools including Google Analytics and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Oversee SBN LinkedIn page, ensuring timely posting, responding to comments and monitoring analytics. Work with the Communications team to create engaging content.
Write clear, compelling copy across digital channels, including web pages, campaign emails and social content, consistent with SBN's brand voice and style
Monitor and report on performance data to support strategy, programme engagement, investor communications and audience growth
Support the wider Communications team to ensure cohesive storytelling, campaign alignment and brand visibility
ABOUT YOU
You're a digital all-rounder who's equally comfortable analysing campaign data and writing a punchy email subject line. You bring a sharp eye for detail, a good instinct for what works online and genuine enthusiasm for the kind of work SBN does.
You'll likely bring:
Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Hotjar, Mailchimp, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and SEO tools such as SEMrush
Experience with website content management systems. Knowledge of Umbraco is a bonus.
Solid understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them
A data-driven approach: comfortable gathering, analysing and presenting performance insights
Excellent time management and the ability to juggle competing priorities under deadline pressure
Basic graphic design capability and a good eye for detail; experience with Adobe InDesign or Canva is an advantage
Written communication skills and confidence writing for digital audiences a bonus
A solutions-focused mindset and strong sense of ownership over your work
The ability to adapt quickly and work well in a fast-moving environment
A genuine interest in sustainability and the challenges SBN is working to address
