We're looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Bakery Manager to support the daily operation of our busy Bakery Department. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, maintains high product standards, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Assisting the Bakery Manager with day-to-day department operations
• Supporting, guiding, and developing the bakery team
• Helping manage production planning, ordering, and stock control
• Ensuring food safety, compliance, and consistent product standards
• Stepping into leadership responsibilities when required
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment

• NZQA Bakery qualification is required
• Previous supermarket bakery experience is an advantage
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a bakery environment is highly advantageous
• A positive, hands-on, and reliable attitude
• Physically fit and comfortable with early starts
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Availability for one weekend shift
• Specific days and hours will be discussed at interview
