Level 3 Engineer

Our client is progressive and stays ahead of emerging trends.  Due to organic growth they’re seeking a Junior Level 3 Engineer.  Here is your chance to join an inclusive and technical team who has a glowing reputation in the market. 

Viewed as a valued member of the Level 3 team, you'll be the primary escalation point for Level 2 and Level 3 technical issues.   This role is likely to evolve as the company is growing at a rapid pace.  We're looking for the following skills and experience:
  • Minimum of five years commercial experience in an IT systems engineering or infrastructure support role.
  • Proven management of small IT projects in an MSP environment.
  • Strong Microsoft ecosystem expertise: /windows server 2016/2019/2022.  Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online and Sharepoint Online and Teams.
  • Solid expereince with Microsoft Azure administration including Entra ID, Azure Virtual Machines and Azure resource management.
  • Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot
  • Strong networking knowledge TCP/IP DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN routing and firewall management, (Fortigate preferred).
  • Powershell scripting for automation and systems administration.
  • Identify opportunities for system and process improvements, evaluating emerging technologies and industry best practices. Proactively propose and implement enhancements to optimize IT infrastructure performance, reliability, and security.
  • Mac and Linux/UNIX administration alongside a Windows environment.
  • Experience with VOIP/ TEams Telephony and Cloud phone system administration.
