ABOUT THE ROLE
Project Managers are leaders and mentors for the project team. They are focused on client satisfaction and lead the team from concept to completion – project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and completion. Project Managers keep our complex construction projects moving and achieving their targets.
As Project Manager, the team will rely on you to keep them on budget, achieve programme, and manage stakeholder expectations. If you are an organised, strategic thinker who enjoys building relationships, this is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure a high level of safety, service, and excellence on projects for their full lifecycle
Manage and minimise risk
Ensure the project programme meets deadlines and key targets
Provide expert advice on construction methodologies, sequencing, building issues, and class detection
Manage Safety and Quality plans
Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders
Work closely with Site Managers and Quantity Surveyors to ensure construction costs and production are managed efficiently
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in leading successful projects from start to finish
Relevant tertiary qualification
Thorough understanding of commercial construction contracts
Experience with MS Projects
CAT projects and SharePoint (desirable)
Enjoy working in a high-performing, collaborative team environment
