About the Role

You’ll be installing and maintaining residential, commercial, industrial, dairy farm and rural solar systems—working on a diverse range of projects from homes to large-scale energy solutions for businesses and farms.

This role offers the opportunity to be involved in exciting, high-impact projects that are shaping the future of energy across Hawke’s Bay.

You’ll:
• Lead and motivate installation teams to deliver safe, right-first-time results
• Take ownership of larger commercial, industrial, and rural installations
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, and inspectors
• Ensure projects run smoothly, on time, and to compliance standards
• Take ownership of quality, performance, and team productivity
• Help shape and improve how we deliver projects as we grow

This is a hands-on leadership role—perfect for someone who enjoys being on the tools but is ready to take on bigger, more complex projects and greater responsibility.

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified electrician with current EWRB registration
• Strong technical skills and pride in your workmanship
• A natural leader (or ready to step up into leadership)
• Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
• Confident communicator with a can-do attitude
• Full, clean driver’s licence
• NZ residency or valid work permit

Role Details

• Location: Hawke’s Bay (site-based work)
• Hours: 7:00am – 4:30pm (occasional weekends/overnight travel)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Office Base: 1027 Links Road, Waiohiki, Napier
