We are on the hunt for a superstar Education Consultant, based in Wellington New Zealand. Reporting into the State Sales Manager and Operations & Digital Education Manager you will lead the education activity in your territories by inspiring and empowering our hairdressers and salon partners to achieve their professional goals.

Tools of the trade will be provided to ensure you are set up for success: car, laptop, iPad, iPhone, product kit, ghd kit.

*Based on Wella Master Brand USD sales on the 2024 Salon Hair Care Study for the hair colouring category published by Kline.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver Education leadership and support to our salon customers in your territories

  • Drive salon growth and bring new salons to Wella via Education-led activity

  • Facilitate in-person and online Education seminars and activity, in line with the Education curriculum  

  • Respond to customer needs with solutions based on technical knowledge and experience

  • Drive reach and engagement through your own social media, to build your profile as an industry influencer 

  • Working with your local team and broader Australia & New Zealand Education team

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Hairdresser/colourist technical expertise, with excellent knowledge of Salon Professional products and education services (Wella colour is an advantage, but not a necessity)

  • 5+ years salon experience 

  • Structured, solution-oriented thinking with a proactive growth mindset

  • Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills

  • Digitally savvy, understanding of social media and basic content creation and communication (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)

  • Understanding of Office 365 (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
