About the Role:

We are looking for a Commercial Broker to join our team in a full-time, permanent position based in Riccarton. We are seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, confidence, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:

·         Managing client quotes and renewals

·         Negotiation of policy terms and conditions/quotations with Insurers

·         Managing the insurance claims process for clients

·         Processing policy transactions including new business and endorsements 

·         Preparing policy schedules and client presentations

Skills and Experience:

We’re looking for someone who demonstrates the following attributes, skills and experience:

·         Attained the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 (General Insurance Strand), or equivalent

·         7+ years’ experience in General Insurance Broking

·         High standard of professionalism and customer service 

·         Exceptional time management skills

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Takes pride in their work and has a high attention to detail
