You’ll be working across motorway and high‑speed environments, supporting planned and reactive maintenance works as part of our North Canterbury IDC.
What you’ll be doing
- Installing, maintaining and removing traffic management on motorway and high‑speed roads
- Working in line with TMPs, COPTTM and HEB safety standards
- Monitoring site conditions and responding to changes quickly and safely
- Communicating clearly with supervisors, crews and the public
- Taking pride in keeping worksites safe, tidy and compliant
What we’re looking for
- Current TTM qualification (or higher) with motorway experience
- Solid understanding of COPTTM and working around live traffic
- A strong safety mindset and the confidence to speak up
- Reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Class 1 licence (Class 2 an advantage)
We welcome applications from women and men, and from people at all stages of their career who meet the role requirements.
Why join HEB?
At HEB, how we work matters just as much as what we deliver. Our people live our values every day: We are Open (Pono), Real (Tika), Together (Kotahitanga), Care (Whanake) and Deliver (Aroha). You’ll be joining a team where safety, respect and looking out for each other come first
What’s in it for you
- Secure, long‑term work on a key North Canterbury maintenance contract
- Competitive pay and overtime opportunities
- Life, injury and health insurance
- Birthday off
- Full PPE and well‑maintained equipment
- Ongoing training and development pathways
- A strong safety culture where your voice is heard
- A team that genuinely supports each other on and off site
