Company profile
Born from resilience, built on care.
In 1933, Fulton Hogan was founded by Jules Fulton and Bob Hogan, in Dunedin. The great depression of the 1930s caused mass unemployment in New Zealand. Families across the country sank into poverty and struggled to cope. This was not an ideal economic environment for starting a new business, however, Jules and Bob had a vision, and made an excellent team. They both believed that a successful company should care about the welfare of its employees. That belief continues today.
From those modest beginnings, Fulton Hogan has grown into one of the largest civil engineering and infrastructure service companies in New Zealand and Australia.
