Lifeguard
It’s fun to work at The Y!
We are looking for a Lifeguard to join our team at Panmure Lagoon Pool and Leisure Centre. This is a great part time role offering a minimum of 12 hours per week over a Wednesday and Saturday.
What will you be doing?
Monitor the recreation facility make sure swimmers are following safety rules
Rescue or assist a swimmer who is in trouble
Make sure pool equipment is kept organised and in good condition
Keep the pool area clean and safe
Be responsible for pool maintenance e.g. Conduct pool water tests
Perform basic first aid
What experience/skills do you need?
Be a confident swimmer
Required Qualifications: Support to gain required qualifications can be provided
PLSA (Pool Lifeguard Skills Award)
PLPC (Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate)
First Aid
