About us
At PREKURE, we are a high-impact social organisation dedicated to revolutionising healthcare by focusing on prevention as cure. Our mission is to extend the human healthspan, helping humanity die young… as old as possible. We exist to prevent, manage, and, where possible, reverse chronic lifestyle diseases and mental health challenges. We do this by being world leaders in professional Health Coach education and continuing professional development.
We are learners at heart, recognised for our high standards and commitment to challenging conventions and unlocking the latest science and evidence in health. We’ve built a community of change-makers committed to this mission and are proudly driving real change in healthcare.
About the role
This is a full-time role reporting into the Head of Revenue, based in Auckland with a minimum of 3 days working from our offices at Smales Farm, Takapuna. The salary is $80,000 per annum.
PREKURE sits on a deep, growing library of original content across metabolic, mental, and behavioural health – built through our curriculum, research, books, public commentary, and thought leadership. As our Content Lead, you are the bridge between PREKURE’s world-class expertise and the outside world. You will systematically surface, repurpose, and amplify our content across every relevant channel – turning every piece of intellectual property into a long-lived, multi-format asset. You will own PREKURE’s organic brand presence, manage the personal brands of our Key People of Influence (KPIs), and chair our weekly R&D x Marketing content engine.
Your key responsibilities will include
Content Amplification & Repurposing: Systematically capture and repurpose PREKURE’s intellectual property – from course modules, books, keynotes, and media appearances – into multi-format content assets. Build and maintain a content calendar that maps source material to output formats and distribution channels. Turn long-form content (courses, book chapters, keynotes) into short-form, social-native assets at pace.
KPI Brand Building: Manage and grow the personal brands of Prof Grant Schofield and Dr Louise Schofield as our ‘Key People of Influence’, across social media, podcasts, and public commentary. Edit and schedule social content on their behalf. Pitch media/podcast/speaking opportunities.
Graduate Outcome Storytelling: Own PREKURE’s graduate story pipeline – identify, interview, film, and produce graduate case studies and testimonials. Translate graduate outcomes data (employment, earnings, wellbeing) into compelling social and campaign content that drives B2C enrolments. Build a repeatable content capture process so graduate stories flow consistently.
Organic Social & Channel Management: Own PREKURE’s organic social strategy and execution across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook. Manage content scheduling, community engagement, and platform optimisation. Track and report organic performance metrics. Identify distribution opportunities – partnerships, guest placements, and podcast features – that extend reach.
Blog, Podcast & Long-Form Content: Collaborate with the R&D team to produce and distribute blogs, articles, and podcast episodes that reinforce PREKURE’s science-backed brand. Manage podcast production end-to-end – recording, editing, show notes, and distribution. Ensure all long-form content is repurposed effectively across channels.
R&D x Marketing Content Engine: Chair the weekly R&D x Marketing Sync – setting the content focus for the week, agreeing deliverables, and ensuring R&D output is captured and amplified. Maintain PREKURE’s content library as a live, tagged, and accessible asset register.
AI-Augmented Production: Use AI tools to dramatically increase content throughput without sacrificing quality or brand voice. Experiment with new formats and automation workflows.
Event Content & Support: Support the Marketing Manager in delivering in-person events. Capture compelling content at events – video, photography, testimonials – for use across social and marketing channels.
About you
You’re deeply passionate about our mission and understand the importance of creating real, lasting change in health. You are a skilled content producer with sharp editorial instincts – you know what makes content worth watching, reading, and sharing. You thrive in a fast-moving environment where you own your output end-to-end and take pride in the quality of your work.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Skilled content producer: 2+ years producing video content to a professional standard – filming, editing, and publishing across social and digital platforms.
Natural storyteller: You find the human story in data, outcomes, and science – and turn it into content that resonates and inspires action.
AI-first creator: You use AI tools to accelerate editing, captioning, repurposing, and ideation. Descript, OpusClip, Claude, Figma AI, or equivalent are part of your daily workflow.
Podcast producer: Experience recording, editing, and distributing podcasts to a professional standard, including show notes and multi-platform distribution.
Platform-savvy: You understand what drives organic reach on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, X and TikTok – and you create accordingly.
KPI brand builder: Experience managing personal brands or thought leadership profiles, ideally in health, science, education, or professional services.
Excellent communicator: Strong written skills for captions, blogs, ghostwriting, and short-form copy. You adapt tone across audiences and channels with ease.
Highly organised: You manage your own content pipeline without constant direction. Deadlines are not a problem.
Proactive self-starter: You see what needs doing and you do it - fast. You are resourceful, adaptable and use every tool available to produce at pace.
On mission: You are genuinely excited to be part of a community of change-makers working to transform how chronic disease and mental ill-health are prevented and managed.
The prize
We are building something that matters. Our goal is to graduate more than 3,000 Health Coaches in the next three years and, in doing so, make a tangible impact on health outcomes across our communities. Our long-term ambition is global.
You will have a direct line to our founders, genuine ownership of how PREKURE shows up in the world, and the opportunity to help build a category-leading brand from the inside. If you want to do meaningful work and be excellent at it, this is your role.
