Shut Down crew - Working at Heights, Confine Space, Labourers required
About the role
NZ Labour Hire Group is seeking experienced Shut Down crew members with current Working at Heights and/or Confined Space unit standards. These roles will include a labouring component, so you need to be fit, capable of travelling, and available for day and or night shifts on request.
The project is set to start in early May for up to a 3-week assignment, with 12-hour shifts for up to 21 days.
What you'll be doing
Carrying out maintenance and repairs at heights and/or in confined spaces
Assisting with general labouring duties as required
Working as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently
Adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures
Keeping a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
Previous experience working at heights and or in confined spaces, along with current unit standards
Able to pass fit testing, along with doing a drug and alcohol testing plus able to pass our Ministry of Justice check
Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour
Flexibility to travel and work shifts on a 7-day basis
