Right now at Kiwibank we’re scaling our Transformation Team to deliver a number of key programmes that will provide the foundations of a new generation of banking services for our customers. As part of this, we're looking for a new Senior Risk Transformation Lead to join us on our journey.
As Senior Risk Transformation Lead, your primary responsibility will be to work with the business and tech teams to ensure that the transformed processes are compliant be design, meeting all relevant regulatory requirements and minimising operational risk through a control framework that aligns to Kiwibank's risk management policies and standards. Your key objective is to make sure that programme risks are well managed; including both delivery risks and risks associated with the change resulting from programme outcomes.
As a person you’ll be both deeply collaborative and comfortable acting in influencing and leadership roles within a diverse environment. Day-to-day you’ll work with a wide range of people across the business, transformation and technology areas.
This is not a typical BAU risk management role, it is about ensuring that our teams and customers are “safe” and that the Bank meets its wider regulatory obligations. You will work in a diverse range of roles for people across the program, providing coaching, mentoring as needed and building consistency and capability in our risk practices.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following:
Extensive experience in a first-line operational risk role involving Risk identification and management, design and implementation of control framework, and coaching and mentoring teams to embed risk practices.
Proven background in enterprise business & technology change programmes.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage context switching across a diverse range of concurrent engagements.
Understanding of Agile project methodologies, tools and ways of working.
Demonstrable track record working within Banking or Financial Services industry.
Proven background working with ambiguity and capable of working comfortably in a changing transformation environment.
