Key Account Manager
About the role
As a Key Account Manager at Diplomat New Zealand Limited, you will be responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service and cultivating long-term, strategic partnerships. This full-time position is based in Takapuna, Auckland.
What you'll be doing
Develop and execute account plans to meet and exceed sales targets for key accounts
Manage and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within your accounts
Identify new opportunities to expand business and drive revenue growth
Provide expert product and industry knowledge to support customer needs
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Monitor and report on account performance, identifying areas for improvement
Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings
What we're looking for
Proven track record of success in account management or relationship-focused sales roles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex situations
Proficient in using CRM systems to manage customer data and pipeline
Thorough understanding of the sales process and customer lifecycle
Familiarity with the account and relationship management industry
