Construction Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Construction Manager to lead our foundation operations across the Greater Wellington and Wairarapa regions. What You'll Need to Bring
We're looking for someone with proven experience who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in construction management or site supervision
Experience in concrete and foundations construction
Strong understanding of residential and light commercial construction processes
Proven ability to manage and mentor multiple teams simultaneously
Excellent health and safety knowledge and track record
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Problem-solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot on-site issues
High level of professionalism and customer focus
Is resilient and adaptable to the changing pace of the construction industry
Tasks & Responsibilities
As our Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Oversee, mentor and manage 4-5 foundation installation teams executing projects across your area
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and subtrades
Attend pre-let and kick-off meetings with clients and stakeholders
Manage Health and Safety compliance on all sites within your region
Coordinate all construction activity on site and maintain clear communication with customers
Provide guidance on time allowances to support accurate project scheduling
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards
Perform pre-pour QA inspections to guarantee specification compliance
Troubleshoot construction and sequencing issues on site
