Inbound Sales & Booking Specialist - Migration Law Firm
Employment type: Full-time
Location: Auckland (Remote)
9:00 am – 5:00 pm NZST
About My Migration Lawyers
My Migration Lawyers is an Australian law firm practising exclusively in migration law. We provide legal services to individuals, families, and employers across all Australian states and territories, supported by a distributed, remote team including roles based in New Zealand.
We are a growing, digitally operated national practice with a team that values professionalism, clear communication, and high standards of service delivery. Our work covers the full spectrum of Australian migration matters, from visa applications and employer sponsorship through to appeals and complex legal proceedings.
The firm was built deliberately to address common failures in the migration industry and to deliver migration legal services at a higher professional and operational standard than the industry norm.
This role is open to candidates based in New Zealand and will be engaged in accordance with New Zealand employment standards.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced inbound sales professional to manage our lead pipeline and convert enquiries into booked consultations.
You're the first point of contact for people who are often stressed, confused, or scared about their migration situation. That matters. How you handle a call or an email sets the tone for everything that follows. All legal advice is provided by Australian-qualified lawyers. This role is strictly non-legal.
This is a remote role, but it is not a casual one. You'll be managing the front door of a law firm where every interaction counts. You need to be organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently from a home office using digital tools all day.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to all new inbound enquiries promptly via phone and email
Qualify leads against defined suitability criteria
Book paid consultations using Calendly
Process consultation pre-authorisations through Stripe
Execute structured follow-up sequences for all unbooked leads in line with firm guidelines
Handle objections professionally and close bookings
Maintain accurate and complete records in HubSpot at all times
Manage your pipeline daily and prioritise by lead age and status
Hand booked consultations to the legal team with full details
Handle sensitive personal information with discretion and care
Work within defined procedures and service standards so nothing falls through the cracks
Who You Are
You're someone who is naturally organised and takes pride in getting the details right. You don't need to be reminded to follow up on things. You're calm on the phone, even when the person on the other end isn't.
You're comfortable working remotely and managing your own day. You're tech-savvy and confident using digital tools. We are a fully digital firm. Everything is done online, from client meetings on Zoom to task management in Notion and communication through other cloud-based platforms. If you're not comfortable working across multiple apps and learning new systems, this isn't the right fit.
Experience in a law firm or migration practice is a plus, but it's not essential. What matters more is that you're reliable, professional, and genuinely good with people.

Remote-first. Genuinely flexible, properly supported. You work from home with the right equipment and clear expectations.
Managed workloads. We control how much work we take on so staff aren't buried. If service quality drops, intake slows until standards are restored.
Clear systems. Documented procedures, proper onboarding, and defined service standards. You won't be left guessing how things are supposed to work.
Dignity. You will always be treated with respect. That's not a slogan. It's how we operate.
