Accounts & Finance Administrator (Part-Time)
Are you an experienced accounts professional looking for a flexible, purpose-driven role? Hoa Motuhake Sports Trust is seeking a skilled Xero-based Accounts & Finance Administrator to join our small, passionate team.
This is a part-time position (8 -10 hours per week), worked across two days at our office in the new Parakiore Sports House. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of a charitable trust dedicated to transforming young lives through sport and mentorship.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of the Trust, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Managing payroll and ensuring GST compliance
Preparing and issuing invoices and receipts
Maintaining the donations and grants register
Performing weekly bank reconciliations
Producing regular financial reports
Managing all IRD requirements for a non-profit organisation
About You
Proven experience using Xero for accounting and payroll
Strong bookkeeping and financial administration skills
Experience working with (or understanding of) charitable trusts / non-profits is highly desirable
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
