About the role

Being passionate about patient outcomes is essential for driving the continuous success and growth of the production team as the Production Chemist, where you'll play a key role in manufacturing pharmaceutical products. This dynamic role involves working on a rotating roster, covering the night shift for production and the day shift for preparation, materials management, facility compliance, and customer interaction.


Responsibilities:
  • Precision manufacture of pharmaceuticals.
  • Follow operational procedures within the Quality Management System.
  • Update daily manufacturing and dispensing records.
  • Communicate with customers regarding supply impacts as needed.
  • Manage labelling, packaging, dispatch, and logistics requirements.
  • Report and address performance issues. Investigation and risk identification. 
  • Assist in reagent preparation and chemical testing.
  • Work rotating shifts (Nights 12am-9am)
 
Skills & Experience:
  • A science or pharmaceutical degree is required.
  • Attention to detail and precision in following standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
