Warehouse and Production Team Member
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable team member to join our busy day-shift team, in a Warehouse and Production hybrid role, based in Dunedin.
This role will initially involve a combination of warehouse operations and production support, helping ensure materials flow efficiently and daily operations run smoothly. Toward the end of the year, the role will transition into a primarily warehouse-focused position.
The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards of safety and quality, enjoys working in a team environment, and is committed to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and coordinate daily warehouse and production activities to ensure efficient operations.
Manage inwards and outwards goods, inventory control, dispatch, and production materials.
Operate and monitor batch control systems, hand-held scanners, and D365 (Dynamics 365).
Maintain accurate stock records and reporting.
Ensure compliance with MPI and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality.
Work closely with production and customer service teams to support business needs.
About You:
You are highly organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy working as part of a team and contributing to an efficient, well-run operation.
You will ideally have:
Experience in warehouse, production or distribution environments.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Experience with MPI and MPI Secure Export compliance.
A current forklift licence and experience operating material handling equipment.
Experience with batch control systems, hand-held scanners, and D365 (preferred).
Good computer literacy and confidence using digital systems.
A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to high standards.
Clear communication skills and show attention to detail.
