Site Traffic Management Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) to join a high-performance civil construction team delivering key projects across the region.

If you’re a confident leader with a strong safety mindset and proven experience managing Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) sites, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a long-term role with career progression.

About the Role
As an STMS, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing traffic management operations on-site. You will ensure all activities comply with industry regulations while maintaining the safety of workers and the public.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and oversee Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) sites
• Lead and supervise TMOs and TTMW staff on-site
• Ensure that all signs, assets, work vehicles, equipment and worksites are maintained appropriately
• Assist the safe training of TTM Workers
• Liaise with clients, site supervisors, and stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• Current STMS Qualification (Preferably US31961 and US31962)
• Proven experience managing traffic management sites in civil environments
• Solid understanding of NZTA traffic management requirements
• Class 1 Full Driver License (Class 2 beneficial)
