Qualified Electrician - Auckland

The Role:
We’re looking for a qualified electrician to join our team. In this role, you’ll attend sites across Auckland, carrying out electrical work, varying from small disconnects-reconnects, to wiring switchboards and installing temporary power.
This is a hands-on, problem-solving role where no two days are the same, and you’ll often be the first on site—providing safety, reassurance, and immediate solutions during stressful situations.
This is a standard Monday–Friday role, with the opportunity to earn significant paid overtime for after-hours and weekend call outs, ideal for someone wanting stable hours with the option to boost their income.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend emergency service calls at short notice
Carry out electrical makesafe works, including isolation and temporary power
Identify hazards and ensure sites are electrically safe
Ensure all work meets high safety and quality standards
Liaise with internal teams, insurers, and councils
Accurately report job details and updates to head office
Ensure all work complies with electrical and Health & Safety regulations
Travel across the Auckland region
Key Selection Criteria:
Qualified and registered electrician (EWRB licence required)
Experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
Full, clean driver’s licence
Ability to work after-hours when required
Able to supply their own tools
