FFP is looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join their Christchurch team, working across installation, servicing, testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
This is a hands-on role working across commercial sites throughout Christchurch and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission fire alarm systems on commercial sites
- Conduct scheduled testing and compliance inspections
- Carry out routine servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose and resolve system faults
- Respond to service callouts when required
- Complete accurate service reports and system documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers on site
- Ensure all work meets NZ fire safety standards and company procedures
- Experience working with fire alarm systems, electrical systems, or related technology
- Strong computer skills and confidence using tablets or electronic job systems
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Good understanding of compliance and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail with documentation and reporting
- Clear communication and good customer service skills
- Physically capable of working at heights and in ceiling spaces
