Production Operator
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our production team at our Hamilton location. This is a full time, hands-on role supports based in our production facility (not laboratory based).
As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be directly involved in the execution and optimisation of biotechnological production processes, ensuring product quality, consistency, and efficiency. This position plays a vital role in supporting our rapidly growing biotechnology business as we continue to deliver innovative products and solutions to the market.

About the Role
- Operate and monitor production equipment, supporting daily operational activities.
- Participate in daily production processes and cleaning of associated equipment.
- Perform repetitive assembly, inspection, and packaging tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet established specifications. Troubleshoot any production issues and implement corrective actions to minimise disruptions.
- Assist with dispensing and labelling activities as required.
- Perform general maintenance across the site, ensuring work areas are tidy, safe, and free from clutter.
- Provide warehousing support, including use of forklift or van to complete onsite or off-site pickups, deliveries, and general logistics tasks.
- Carry out general cleaning duties, following all SOPs to meet quality and compliance standards.
- Communicate any production issues to supervisors promptly to minimise operational disruptions.
- Complete all required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Skills and Experience we are looking for
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and willingness to escalate issues early.
- Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks, lifting up to 25kg
- Previous experience in production or warehousing, is advantageous but not required—training will be provided.
- Current and valid Driver’s License and Forklift License
