About the role
 
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Bayley's Real Estate as a part-time Talent Search Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, sourcing and screening high-quality agents for a variety of real estate positions within the Bayley's network of offices. The role offers the flexibility of part-time work and is based in Christchurch.
 
What you'll be doing
  • Identify and research high-performing real estate agents in the local market
  • Build and maintain a targeted pipeline of prospective talent
  • Develop strong relationships and conduct discreet outreach to potential recruits
  • Engage candidates via phone, email, social media, and networking
  • Coordinate informal meetings between prospective agents and leadership
  • Promote the business as an employer of choice within the industry
  • Track candidate engagement and manage follow-ups in a structured database
  • Monitor market activity, competitor movement, and industry trends
  • Provide insights on emerging talent and high-growth agents
What we're looking for
  • Experience in recruitment, talent sourcing and/or searching, or business development (real estate industry experience is advantageous)
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to approach and engage senior professionals confidently
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with strong research and investigative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and maintain organised records
  • Good computer skills and can confidently work across social media platforms
