This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Bayley's Real Estate as a part-time Talent Search Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, sourcing and screening high-quality agents for a variety of real estate positions within the Bayley's network of offices. The role offers the flexibility of part-time work and is based in Christchurch.
What you'll be doing
- Identify and research high-performing real estate agents in the local market
- Build and maintain a targeted pipeline of prospective talent
- Develop strong relationships and conduct discreet outreach to potential recruits
- Engage candidates via phone, email, social media, and networking
- Coordinate informal meetings between prospective agents and leadership
- Promote the business as an employer of choice within the industry
- Track candidate engagement and manage follow-ups in a structured database
- Monitor market activity, competitor movement, and industry trends
- Provide insights on emerging talent and high-growth agents
- Experience in recruitment, talent sourcing and/or searching, or business development (real estate industry experience is advantageous)
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Ability to approach and engage senior professionals confidently
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with strong research and investigative skills
- Ability to manage multiple prospects and maintain organised records
- Good computer skills and can confidently work across social media platforms
